My name is Tim Lemke, and I am a web developer living in Toronto. Always striving to write clean code, I am excited about and actively learning new languages and technologies. As a recent graduate of the full time web development boot camp at HackerYou, I am creative, self-managed and highly motivated.
Having spent the first part of my life as a professional guitarist, music professor and teacher, I have learned the values of creativity, self-motivation, dedicated practice and collaboration. When I am not coding, you can find me playing my guitar, hanging with friends or going for hikes with my wife.
This project was built in response to a need at HackerYou for a way to organize those waiting in line to use the microwave. It was created using React, Firebase and the Giphy API. Users log in using Google Authentication, and from there are able to add themselves to the cue.
World Of Flavour
Weather We Eat?
This group project built with Faye Ma and Brett Nielsen utilizes the Dark Sky, Teleport and Yummly Api’s to generate a recipe suggestion for a user, based on the temperature of their given location or city of their choice. Users can filter based on dietary restrictions, and store selected recipes in a shared recipe list, which is hosted with Firebase. This site is also entirely responsive, using floats exclusively.
This website is a fully responsive PSD conversion. The design of the original PSD was replicated exactly, and adapted for smaller screen sizes and mobile devices.
